A Cycling Trip@Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam

The briefing from Johny

The bicycle is the most civilized conveyance known to man.  Other forms of transport grow daily more nightmarish.  Only the bicycle remains pure in heart. That drives us to make a gathering & cycling at Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya .The 817 hectares of the Bukit Cerakah forest reserve has a wide variety of attractions. Recently gazetted and to be developed as the Taman Botani Negara, Shah Alam (National Botanical Garden),

The day has come .. 31 July 2010(Sat) after a month ahead planning  and inviting people in advance .Eventually only 9 peoples managed to show from Arrow Community and ready for fun & excitement to cycling.

Living in KL where you don't have any space & convenience  spot to do such activity and Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam is a right place to go .

Rent a bike and cycle through the parks. Stopping by the several attractions which include the Mini Zoo, Padi Field, Four season house, French Garden, Cactus Garden, Orchid Garden, Fruit Garden and many more. RM 3 for 1st hour and RM 1 for the next hours.Cheaper right!

Get a bicycle.  You will not regret it if you live

Cycling is unique.  No other sport lets you go like that - where there's only the bike left to hold you up.  If you ran as hard, you'd fall over.  Your legs wouldn't support you.

Life is like riding a bicycle - in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving
Getting a rest.
Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride.

Amsal,Lena,Shirley,Doly,Paren,Tom,Ruki,Jeredy & Johny.

After 5 hours cycling from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm .We go back to KL around 5 after taking a late lunch at 4.00pm after completed our cycling.

After our first day of cycling, one dream is inevitable.  A memory of motion lingers in the muscles of your legs, and round and round they seem to go.  You ride through Dreamland on wonderful dream bicycles that change and grow.

Chiang Mai Trip- No Woman No cry

Have u ever listen  to  Bob Marley popular Song.
"NO WOMAN NO CRY"
No woman, no cry
No woman, no cry
Oh my Little sister, don't she'd no tears
No woman, no cry.. and..
have u ever heard this slogan
NO WOMAN NO CRY
NO OPIUM I DIE...
This picture was taken during trip to Golden Triangle  at Thailand in 2005.A little info about this Golden Triangle( named for its opium production)

It is an area of around 950,000 km2 that overlaps the mountains of four countries of Southeast Asia: Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. Along with Afghanistan in the Golden Crescent and Pakistan, it has been one of the most extensive opium-producing areas of Asia and of the world since the 1920s. Most of the world's heroin came from the Golden Triangle until the early 21st century when Afghanistan became the world's largest producer

The Golden Triangle also designates the confluence of the Ruak River and the Mekong river, since the term has been appropriated by the Thai tourist industry to describe the nearby junction of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.

According to our tour guide that times opium was widely used during that period & many of the Thai teenagers those living in that area mostly spoiled because of this Opium was widely distributed & even
though drug dealers waiting in front  of the school gate to distribute the Opium to school teenagers..no wonder this slogan was so popular No Woman No Cry No Opium I die.....so irony
