Desa Selesa Camp at Tanjung Malim location for Arrow Retreat

Jan 30,2010.(Saturday)The Arrow Community  were held a leaders retreat at Desa Selesa Camp at Tanjung Malim.This retreat is a first in year 2010 & first in Desa Selesa.

Desa Selesa in brief:-

Desa Selesa Camp is located in Tanjung Malim, Perak which is the retreat centre & camping centre which surrounded by orchards of  fruit in green forests. Desa Selesa Camp  giving a difference view with it trees of fruits. In addition to its close proximity to the Samak River  gives a new experiences to visitors.

LOCATION 
Situated 4km from the town of Tanjong Malim, this camp is located on the "Expressway Sungai", the border of Perak and Selangor. The journey to this camp takes 1hr 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur

Desa Selesa meaning:-
Countryside Village with "comfort"(Selesa)..but from my personal experienced the facilities is unmaintained.such as no housekeeping,the chalet is dusting & lack of water supply  etc.. the hall & the toilet is very unpleasant at all .Since it was surrounded by orchards of  fruit in green forests that bring you to it meaning..SELESA.the chill & fresh air & the clean Samak river.that really bring it meaning as Selesa(Comfort).


Tomorrow(Oct 29 & Oct 30)(Friday & Sat)..Arrow Leaders will held a Retreat again for this year before this year is end ...but the location is soon to be announced since "Kampung Idaman at Bukit Cerakah closed for renovation" ...Desa Selesa again ..?? i don't think so..maybe suitable for Camping..but i you are looking for cheapest & budget retreat centre .here is a perfect choice for you.
