Five exotic Sarawak lass picked for Fords Models Supermodel of the World Malaysia 2011 .

        Supermodel search in the Jungle of Sarawak Borneo after the audition in Miri Borneo Longhouse  Ford Supermodel of The World search Malaysia 2011 has picked 5 exotic lass from Jungle of Sarawak.for the semi-final .

"Since the start of the search, we had wanted to find that one unique unpolished gem to represent our country,”

The five EXOTIC semi-finalists are:-

1)Jessica Bulan Stephen, 20, a Kayan Kenyah(Orang Ulu) lass from Miri,

2)Chrissy Anderson Woods, 18, an Iban and British descent from Miri.

3) Ervita Gireen, 19, a Bidayuh lass hail from Kuching.

4)Karen Lugun, 18, a Kelabit and Punjabi descent from Miri

5)Melissa Wong, 23.a Chinese from Sibu.(Melissa Personal Blog)

 Melissa Wong was a Miss Malaysia Model of the World 2009 before she gave up her Title & become 1st runner up!!

The Sarawak leg will be followed by Sabah, Penang, Johor and a finale in Kuala Lumpur.

  On 31  October 2010,  Danica Flores Magpantay won the Ford Supermodel of the World title bagged Phillipines.
   In fact ,Danica Flores was 2nd Asian ancestry win the Ford Supermodel of the World after Kang Seung Hyun from Korea in year 2008 since 1981.

the first model of Asian ancestry to win Ford Supermodel.

Ford Models Supermodel of the World is the largest and most prestigious international modeling competition. Aspiring models from more than 40 countries will join the annual competition.
The competition, which was founded by Eileen Ford in 1980 as the “Face of the 80s”, to discover new models for the international Fashion industry.
