10th edition of Borneo Cultural Festival is should continue. due to BN defeats in Sibu during 10th state election!! it was scrapped.

Previously, BCF was unable to attract enough foreign tourists due to high air fares.“BCF is more for domestic tourism and it never fails to attract people from the central region, including those from Bintulu. It is not yet an international event, but we should not stop it,if Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) was unable to organise the event, it should let local bodies or non-governmental organisations to take up the job.
