Whitehall is a road in the City of Westminster
The name is taken from the vast Palace of Whitehall that used to occupy the area but which was largely destroyed by fire in 1698. Whitehall was originally a wide road that led to the front of the palace. Trafalgar Square was built at its northern extremity in the early 19th century. The southernmost portion between Parliament Square and Downing Street is named Parliament Street. Combined, Parliament Street and Whitehall cover a distance of about 0.6 mile (1 km).
Whitehall is also widely known for a number of memorial statues and monuments, including Britain's primary war memorial, the Cenotaph.

Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey is a must-see and significant structure in British history. This beautiful gothic church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site popular with many visitors to London.
Kings, Queens, statesmen, aristocrats, poets, priests, heroes and villains are all part of the church’s fascinating history. Many of whom were buried at the Abbey including Charles Dickens, Geoffrey Chaucer, Dr. Samuel Johnson and Charles Darwin. There is a special Scientists corners at the church which is home to a memorial for Isaac Newton.
Since the crowning of William the Conqueror in 1066, Westminster Abbey has been the nation’s Coronation church. Many Kings and Queens, including the current reigning Queen Elizabeth II, have been crowned on King Edward’s Chair.
The Abbey has also seen many Royal Weddings and Funerals through the years, in 2011 it was the venue for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
On top of all this rich history, Westminster Abbey London is a truly stunning building and the exterior offers visitors plenty of photo opportunities. Highlights of this grand building include a statue of the Virgin Mary holding a baby Jesus, the Nave with the grave of the unknown warrior and the Little Cloister leading the College Gardens.
China Town-Leicester Square
The present Chinatown is part of the Soho area of the City of Westminster, occupying the area in and around Gerrard Street. It contains a number of Chinese restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, souvenir shops, and other Chinese-run businesses.

Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, and it's the official residence of Her Majesty The Queen. Built over 900 years ago the castle's floor covers a massive 480,000 square feet.
The castle is surrounded by some beautiful gardens and the picturesque English countryside. St George's Chapel, inside the grounds, is a fine example of gothic architecture and features the tomb of Henry VIII.
Windsor Castle is currently home to a special exhibition "Royal Paintbox: Royal Artists Past and Present" in the Drawings Gallery.
Visitors can explore the magnificent State Apartments which are lavishly furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection, including masterpieces by Rubens, Holbein, Brueghel and Van Dyck. Ticket holders get a free self-guided audio tour that lasts around 2 hours and is full of all the information you need to know about this royal residence.
Situated on the outskirts of London, visitors can get to Windsor Castle from London Paddington or London Waterloo Train Stations in around 30 minutes. 

The small town of Eton in England is surrounded by over 5000 acres of Crown Land making it one of the most beautiful places in the Middle Thames – it’s certainly worth taking time to enjoy these beautiful grounds and wander round the town of Eton. Attractions nearby also include Windsor Castle
Eton College
Eton College is one of the most exclusive educational establishments in the world. . King Henry VI set up the college in 1440 for the purposes of educating only seventy of the poorest scholars in the country!
Cloisters is the oldest classroom in the College and the College Chapel and experience how the first students would have lived and worked here.
This Eton tourist attraction is famous for sticking closely to its historical roots and traditions - scholars are still to be seen sporting the original School Dress of black tailcoats and pin striped trousers. With 19 former British Prime Ministers numbered among the former pupils, there are few other educational establishments in the UK as steeped in tradition and history as Eton College.

St Paul's Cathedral 
Built between 1675 and 1710, the cathedral went through a £40 million programme of cleaning and repair work for its 300th anniversary and the work has transformed the exterior and interior of the building.
There is so much to discover throughout this vast cathedral including The Aspe, an American Memorial Chapel dedicated to servicemen and women who died during World War II. Also there is The Quire, where the choir and priest sit during services and is home to the cathedrals grand Organ and High Altar.
The highlight of St Paul's Cathedral is the remarkable Whispering Gallery, situated 30 metres above the cathedral floor and is famous for its acoustics.
Below the cathedral in the elegant and spacious crypt, are the tombs and memorials of such historical luminaries as Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke Of Wellington.

Another 55 metres above the Whispering Gallery is the Golden Gallery which offers breathtaking panoramic views of central London for those with the energy to climb the 530 steps.

Millennium FootBridge-Thames River
Londoners nicknamed the bridge the "Wobbly Bridge" after participants in a charity walk on behalf of Save the Children to open the bridge felt an unexpected and, for some, uncomfortable swaying motion on the first two days after the bridge opened. The bridge was closed later that day, and after two days of limited access the bridge was closed for almost two years while modifications were made to eliminate the wobble entirely. Tate Modern
Tate Modern London is the national gallery of international modern art for Britain. Based in a spectacular disused power station in the heart of London, Tate Modern was created in 2000 and has since become world renowned as a centre for modern art from around the world.
The collection at Tate Modern includes all the major modern art movements from Fauvism onwards. It features Picasso and Matisse, Dali, Ernst and Mirò. There are works by Pollock, Naum Gabo and Giacometti and the Seagram Murals of Rothko are displayed in the famous Tate Rothko Room. The HMS Belfast
HMS Belfast was launched in 1938 and served with distinction in both the Second World War and the Korean War. She is now the only surviving example of the great fleets of big gun armoured warships built for the Royal Navy in the first half of the twentieth century. HMS Belfast is moored on the River Thames, with an idyllic location between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.
On 5 August 1939 HMS Belfast was commissioned into the Royal Navy and just a month later she was at war. On 21 November 1939, whilst leaving the Firth of Forth, HMS Belfast was severely damaged by a German magnetic mine, the damage was so severe that it was almost three years before she was fit for action again. She continued to serve in active military engagements until 1952, including participation in the destruction of the battle cruiser Scharnhorst the Normandy Landings and the Korean War. She remained in service until 1965.

The Royal Park- Diana Memorial Fountain
This unique Memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales was opened by Her Majesty The Queen on 6th July 2004.The design aims to reflect Diana's life, water flows from the highest point in two directions as it cascades, swirls and bubbles before meeting in a calm pool at the bottom. The water is constantly being refreshed and is drawn from London's water table.
The Royal Park-The Albert Memorial
The Albert Memorial is located in Kensington Gardens on Albert Memorial Road opposite the Royal Albert Hall.
It is one of London's most ornate monuments, designed by George Gilbert Scott.
Unveiled in 1872, The Albert Memorial commemorates the death of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband, who died of typhoid fever at the age of 42.
The memorial shows Prince Albert holding the catalogue of the Great Exhibition, held in Hyde Park in 1851, which he inspired and helped to organise.
