Elizabeth Voon f 18 years old from Sabah, Won 1st Ever Miss Borneo 1960.(35-23-35) beats contestants from all over BORNEO & won the title MISS BORNEO 1960 in the country's first  beauty contest held in KUCHING 1960

Elizabeth Voon, 18 year old from Sabah won the 1st ever Miss Borneo which was held in 1960. This contest was supervised by non other than the late Charlie See, the beauty pageant extraordinaire. Elizabeth represented Borneo in Miss International 1960 in Long Beach, USA along side the former Johor Sultanah, Sultanah Zanariah who represented Malaya.
